So many happy memories. I shall miss his card at Christmas with a little note of what had been happening and sometimes some photos. David and my late husband Shaun met through a mutual love of jazz, in fact Shaun was a drummer too. They also shared a great love of photography. David and Joan did our wedding photographs, I think we may have been one of their first clients in 1962. We spent lots of time together while we were still in Cornwall and were delighted when they came to our 30th anniversary ''bash " in 1992. We moved to Scotland in 1997 and then to France for 13 years in 2002. Obviously we saw less of them, but always visited when back in Cornwall. Since Shaun died and I returned to my home county, I have kept in touch with David, enjoying tea and cake in his cottage on several occasions and obviously still sending Christmas cards. David was a lovely man, talented in so many ways.He was a good friend over many years. I shall miss chatting with him.
